Come join CSUSB Outdoors as we stop to smell the roses at the Los Angeles arboretum and botanical gardens. The LA arboretum is 127 acres of plants from around the globe, ranging from local California flora to rare and exotic species. The arboretum also displays examples of historic architecture representing California’s rich history, as well as beautifully crafted sculptures, streams, and waterfalls. After a picnic lunch we will head to Pasadena, to visit Norton Simon Museum. NPR calls it “America’s least known great museum”. It houses an exquisite collection of art from around the world, ranging from ancient Indian to postmodern American. Trip includes transportation, lunch, and leaders. Dinner is not included!
Student IDs are required for admission to the Norton Simon or an additional $10 fee will need to be paid at the museum.
