TRIP IS FULL

Consistently ranked as America’s Favorite City, San Francisco is a beautiful city with many adventures to offer. On this 3-night, 4-day trip we will explore the best the city has to offer by bike, by foot and by boat. Highlights include: cable car rides, Fisherman’s Warf, Pier 39, biking over the Golden Gate Bridge, ferrying across the bay, Alcatraz Island (additional fee), hiking Muir Woods, kayaking in the bay, Golden Gate Park and more.

Our action packed trip starts with a day long drive and a good night sleep at our campsite in Half Moon Bay. The next morning we will start at Union Square where we board a cable car and ride across the city to Fisherman’s Warf. There we pick up bikes and pedal across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. After exploring this picturesque little town we will take a ferry across the bay back to the city. Once back in the city you can take a tour of Alcatraz Island (additional fee) or explore Pier 39, the Warf and Ghirardelli Square. After a dinner on the town we head back to our campsite for some much needed rest.

Sunday starts with a hearty breakfast and an optional horseback ride (8am - 10pm, $50) on the beach. The rest of the day will be spent exploring Golden Gate Park and Muir Wood National Monument.

On our final day we will explore the bay by kayak! After a lesson we will launch our tandem boats and explore the bay. Our planned route included paddling by Pac Bell Park, the Bay Bride and along the Embarcadero. Once our kayaking tour is competed we will load the van and head back to CSUSB. This weekend adventure will be one you will never forget.

Trip includes transportation, 3 breakfast, 3 lunches, 1 dinner, bike rental, kayak rental, campsite fees, cable car rides, ferry ticket, and leaders. Cost doesn’t include horseback riding, Alcatraz Tour, travel meals (2) and one dinner in the city.
