The most whitewater excitement we have ever offered! The trip includes 1 day and 10 miles of class 3 whitewater on the South Fork of the American River and 1 day and 19 miles of class 3 to 4+ on the Middle Fork of the American River. This trip is an whitewater enthusiasts dream! The first day on the river we’ll navigate the South Fork through the heart of Gold Country. The South Fork includes such rapids as Satin’s Cesspool, Bouncing Rock and Hospital Bar. It’s the perfect way to warm up for the Middle Fork the next day. The Middle Fork is a 19 mile wilderness canyon with Class 3 to 4+ rapids including Tunnel Chute, a rapid is like no other in the world. Carved out by the Argonauts, the river is forced through a 15-ft wide slide that ends through a tunnel! After a full day on the river well will head for home for with some great stories to tell. Trip includes 2 days of rafting, some meals, 2 nights camping, camping equipment and transportation.
