CSUSB Outdoors is pleased to announce our adventure outings planned for the Winter quarter of 2010. Our trips are designed for the beginner and enjoyed by the experience. Trips are open to students, faculty, staff and the community. All trips include specialized equipment, leaders, transportation, most meals and instruction. CSUSB Outdoors mission is to provide the community with a diverse range of outdoor recreational and educational opportunities. We incorporate "Leave No Trace" and cultural/historical knowledge about the areas we visit. Participants will learn how to recreate safely in the great outdoors, develop an appreciation and understanding of our natural surroundings, experience personal growth and leadership development, learn teamwork and healthy communication skills, form new relationships and of course... have fun!
CSUSB Outdoors offers something for everyone... day hikes into the mountains above campus, overnight camping trips to local beaches and state parks, backpacking in the San Gorgonio Wilderness, snowboarding to local resorts, mountain biking and bike tours, group outings, team building and education programs.
No experience is required to participant. CSUSB Outdoors will provide transportation, food and all the gear you will need for your outing.
Our programs are open to the entire CSUSB community - students, staff, faculty, Alumni Association Members, and affiliates.
Registration for all trips and programs takes place in person at the CSUSB Student Recreation and Fitness Center membership desk during regular operating hours. For more information give us a call at 537-CAMP. Some programs do not require registration, are open to non members and youth. See program description for details.
All CSUSB Outdoors trips are alcohol, tobacco, and illegal substance free. All trips must be paid in full at time of enrollment. To cancel your participation, you must contact (909) 537-CAMP. Failure to contact CSUSB Outdoors 48 hours in advance will result in a 100% loss of fees. 48 hours to 7 days will result in a 50% refund. More than 7 days will result in a full refund minus a $10 processing fee.
