to breathe hard, sweat profusely, and flail their bodies around while
feeling emotionally comfortable about doing so.
Maria Alverado - Festejo, Cardio Funk
Education: B.S. Kinesiology, Exercise Science (June 2008) Certifications/Experience: Maria has been teaching Festejo for four years. She was the Queen of Festejo and Queen of Queens of Festejo in Southern California amongst Peruvian Committees in 2000, 2001, and 2002. Hobbies/Areas of Special Interest: School, dance, school, play and watch sports, school, collect key chains, ice cream and did I mention school???? Philosophy: Group Exercise is an experience that allows you to work as a team to focus on your muscular strength and cardio endurance, which may be hard but also very satisfying and rewarding.

one of the best ways of releasing stress. Once you balance your stress
level, everything else falls in place. In group exercise, you can
always rely on your instructor and other participants to support your
endeavors sincerely asking why you missed a class- peer pressure from
within the group.
