Back to topQ: What are the current prices?A: Our current prices for faculty, staff, and Alumni Association members are listed on our membership page. Please tell me about these details.A: To encourage a healthy lifestyle for CSUSB employees, the President has agreed to pay half the cost of the $100 annual membership for any full-time CSUSB employee. The annual faculty and staff membership is for this group is $50 until the promotion ends on May 15, 2007. Back to topQ: I have recently purchased a membership to get the current prices. Can I get a refund if I qualify for the President's incentive?A: Yes. If you purchased a membership after February 1, 2007, a $50 refund will be granted. Apply for your refund at the SRFC beginning April 4, 2007. Back to topQ: I am an annual member and my membership is still valid, can I take advantage of this plan?A: Yes, you can extend your membership for a full year past the current date of expiration for $50. Back to topQ: I am a part-time employee or lecturer, how much is a membership for me?A: The current faculty, staff, and Alumni Association rates apply until May 15, 2007. However, the President’s incentive is not included. Back to topQ: How much is a regular membership after the promotion ends?A: Our faculty, staff, and Alumni Association rates for the Student Recreation and Fitness Center are on our membership page. Back to topQ: How can I pay for my membership?A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, money orders, checks and cash. No bills over $20 please. Back to topQ: Can my spouse or significant other purchase a membership?A: A member can sponsor other individuals 18 years of age or older who live in their same household. This is our affiliate membership. Proof of mutual residency is required. Back to topQ: My friend wants to work out with me, but we do not live together. Can they work out?A: Yes. They can purchase a day pass. However, the sponsoring member must remain in the facility with them. Back to topQ: How much is an affiliate membership?A: The affiliate rates for the Student Recreation and Fitness Center are listed on our membership page. Back to topQ: Can community members purchase a membership?A: No. Recreational Sports wants to make sure the campus community’s needs are met before we offer memberships to the surrounding neighborhood. Back to topQ: Do you have Group Exercise classes?A: Yes. During the first three days we are open, we will have a variety of demonstration classes for the campus community. You can participate in these classes. By the third week of the quarter, a permanent schedule will be posted. A temporary schedule of classes will be offered during the first two-weeks of the quarter. Back to topQ: Do you have showers and lockers?A: Yes, we have 4 individual showers in each locker room. The lockers are designed for day-use only. To use the lockers, you can bring your own lock or purchase one from the Membership Services Desk. At the end of your visit, please remove your lock to allow other members a chance to lock up their belongings. We also have complimentary lockers in the hallway. No lock is needed for these lockers. Back to topQ: Are basketball and other sports available?A: Yes. We have a one-court multi-purpose gymnasium in the SRFC. You can play basketball, volleyball or indoor soccer. As we determine our members’ needs, each of these sports will have designated time slots. |
