Adult Swim Lessons

Adult Beginner Swim Lessons

This class is for beginners with little to no experience or comfort in the water. Students will learn to float, hold their breath, survival skills, and an introduction to swimming strokes. We will meet one hour a week for five weeks.

  • Location: HPE Pool, shallow area
  • Class Size: Minimum 2, Maximum 10

Adult Intermediate Swim Lessons

This class is for intermediate swimmers looking to improve their swimming technique as well as learn new strokes. The class will meet one hour a week for five weeks.

Private Swim Lessons

These lessons are catered to your wants and needs in a swimming program. It will consist of a number of 40-60 minute lessons scheduled when you need the lesson. Must be during normal hours of operation from September 22 – December 13. Fill out the request form and a CSUSB Aquatics Instructor will contact you to schedule the lessons. Two weeks prior notice is required.

Locations and parking

Lessons are taught at the CSUSB Pool located behind the Physical Education Building adjacent to the Coussoulis Arena. Parking lot “G” is the closest parking to the pool. A valid parking permit is needed to park on the CSUSB campus. Please indicate on your registration form if you will need a parking permit (group swim lesson participants only). Participants who register early will receive a permit in the mail. Please see the registration form for more information.
